Woman Planned To Burn Down Part of The Milford Oval
Colleen M. Carr of Milford planned to burn a building to collect insurance money.
The owner of a building on Union Square was arrested by Milford police today for allegedly planning to burn it all down for profit.
Milford detectives arrested Colleen M. Carr, 49, of 139 Union Square, Milford, and charged her with conspiracy to commit arson (class A felony), and witness tampering (class B felony).
The arrest came after a two-day investigation of Carr's plans to burn down her building on 139 Union Square. This building contains Tasty Tobacco Shop, P.C. Carr Realty, and two occupied apartments.
Carr was held on $75,000 cash bail, and was transported to Valley Street Jail. She is scheduled to be arraigned in the Milford District Court on January 18, 2013, at 11 a.m.
Milford detectives continue to investigate this case, and ask that anyone with information about it to call (603) 249-0630.

I know her personally she is just wacky. I dont believe that she would have ever gone thru with it. Who amoung us has heard of people with crappy cars talk about lightening them up and never do? Just BS talk.

Mike, if you and your family lived in that building, I very seriously doubt you would be so quick to dismiss it as, "just bs talk". The point is, even if she WAS just talking bs, she talked to the wrong people!

The family has a history of burning things down. the father the brother and now her... bad Juju in that family! and yeah what about the peole not only living upstair inthat part of the building but the entire strip above all the business where many people live. and Mike, look back if you know the family...in the early 80's not only did their house go up, but a neighbors classic nova (who Pat was extremly jealous of) went up in flames as well 2 days after my friend bought it.. so your comment about setting cars on fire... funny you said that! then another house fire in the 90's...Common, really!
