Runners Get #BostonStrong in Milford

A group of local runners went on a run/walk in Milford to show their support for the Boston Marathon victims

There are runners who are “Boston Strong” even all the way up here in New Hampshire.

A group of New Hampshire walkers and runners gathered in at Keyes Memorial Field on Monday to share their support for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The walk/run was part of a national effort organized by a blog called Pavement Runner, which helped organize 121 cities and towns across the nation.

Avid runners Jessica Clarke of Amherst and Lindsey Masterson of Milford organized the Milford event to show their support for fellow runners.

“Runners understand each other, it is this bond we have,” said Clarke.
