ACHLS Open House
The American College of History and Legal Studies, the nation's only college dedicated exclusively to the study of history, will hold an Open House on November 20, 2013 at the school. The Open House will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately 1-1/2 hours.
Following is the program for the Open House:
- Welcome and Introduction
- Overview of the ACHLS
- Overview of Writing Program
- Overview of American History Seminar
- Overview of the “Early Admission to Law School” Program
- Hear from ACHLS & ACHLS/MSL Students
- Video demonstration of American History class & Q & A period with Professors and Students
The Open House is free and open to all interested students. Refreshments will be served.

Beside its focus on history and legal studies, the ACHLS is a novel senior, or completion, college, offering only the junior and senior years of college. After their junior year, students who do well at ACHLS will be able to enter law school at MSL and receive their B.A. after the first year of law school, rather than after a fourth year of undergraduate school.
