Grant from Centrix Bank Helps Town of Milford to Install New AEDs.

The Town of Milford held a special ceremony to unveil the installation of two new automated external defibrillators (AED), thanks in part to a $1,900 grant awarded by Centrix Bank.  The gift was given on behalf of the Bank’s Community Outreach Program.

“We are honored to be able to support the Town of Milford in their quest to put the needs of its citizens first by having AEDs available at various locations most often visited by residents and visitors,” said Heather Leach, Vice President of Centrix Bank’s Milford office.  “Our Community Outreach Program has enabled us to assist the Town with other community initiatives that were exclusive of its operating budget.”

Milford is one of five New Hampshire towns recognized as a “heart safe” community.  Having the new AEDs available at the Town Hall will be beneficial to saving lives as this location sees a high volume of visitors each day.
