The Gail Westergren Memorial Scolarship Fund Pancake Breakfast.

The second-annual pancake breakfast to benefit the Gail Westergren Memorial Scolarship Fund was held Saturday, May 11 at the Milford Masonic Temple. Between the breakfast and a raffle for a gift basket of gift certificates, we raised over $3000.00!

There are many people that need to be thanked for making this all possible. I would like to thank the Masonic Lodge of Milford for the use of the facilities, The Milford DeMolay group for help serving the breakfast, my family ( yes Amber, you are family!) who helped tremendously, and especially P.J. Lajeunesse without whom I could never had made this work!

I would like to thank the following for donating products for the breakfast; Brady’s American Grill in Peterborough, Parkers Maple Barn, Longhorn Steakhouse of Amherst, Walmart, Shaw’s and Stop & Shop of Milford.

This year we added the raffle of a gift basket of gift certificates at the breakfast, and I would like to thank the following for donating gift certificates; Yankee Chef, Union Street Grill, Café on the Oval, The Salon at Hampshire Hills, Tiebreakers Restaurant, Dr. Phillip Aubrey, Country Club Kennel, Domino’s of Milford, Lock’s Landing Salon, Attorney Sheliah Kaufold, Orde Farm of Hollis, Amigo’s, RDP Plumbing & Heating, Walmart of Amherst, Knight Farm CSA Amherst, J.Pest Services, Supercuts, Longhorn Steakhouse of Amherst and Walt’s Service Station in Amherst.

This year we will be giving two $2000.00 scholarships to two very deserving students!

For more information on this scholarship, or to donate to it, please contact the Souhegan Scholarship Foundation at souheganscholarshipfoundation.org.

I can’t forget to thank all those who attended the breakfast and purchased raffle tickets! Thanks to all of you we can continue the dream of my sister Gail!
