Speak Up Guest Kip Teitsort Founder, DT4EMS, LLC

" I had no idea that we had PTSD, we always thought that it was only for the military...after our brutal assault, someone finally said...do you think you have PTSD? I said no...but inquired and was told Yes you do !!! Shock and disbelief initial"

Kip Teitsort Founder, DT4EMS, LLC
today's featured guest on Speak up. I came across DT4EMS, LLC through Lynn Briggs EMT1 who is still traumatized not only by the actions of her assailant, but also by the lack of how the State of NH responded to her and paramedic Carylyn McEntee.
I thought theirs was an Isolated case here in NH, but according to Kip , their story is the tip of the Ice berg. Our first responders across the country are routinely victimized by violent criminal attacks against them and the bureaucracy which is supposed to be a support insulates themselves from any accountability. Attorney's apparently shy away from representing these crime victims.
" its part of the Job" "Workers Comp" tend to be the excuses they give. In the Briggs and McEntee case along with others, the state failed to tell them of their Civil rights as victims. Equal protection under the law? whats that? Miranda rights of course is given to the accused but what about their victims?
